Instructions for pick up
Following are the details for our raw milk carpool:
2. After ordering, you must send an email to the driver to let
them know what they are picking up for you no later than Wednesday evening.
3. The driver will send an email to all members Thursday
morning confirming the milk orders to be picked up.
4. The driver will prepare a list detailing who has ordered
and how many gallons each person has ordered to use when picking up the milk.
5. Drivers need to pick up from Utah Natural Meat; 7402 South
5490 West; West Jordan, Utah, on Thursday between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
6. Milk is delivered to my home, 1035 North 500 East;
Centerville, UT and placed on the back porch.
7. During summer months, the driver should purchase a bag of
ice to place in the coolers to keep the milk cold.
8. Coolers are supplied by you (the milk purchaser) and may be
left on the back porch. Milk does not need to be matched up with the
owner of the cooler, only placed in the coolers. What this means is that your
milk may not be placed in your cooler, but will be placed in a cooler to
be kept cool. This reduces the amount of ice that the driver needs to
purchase and eliminates the need for the driver to sort the milk. It also
reduces the number of coolers left on my back porch since a large cooler will
hold 6 gallons of milk.
9. The driver will leave the list of milk orders on the table
for people to confirm their pick up.
10. Milk may be picked up from my back porch after 7:00 PM on
Thursday nights.
11. When you pick up your milk, check the list to confirm the
correct amount of milk and initial beside your name to confirm pick up of your
milk.
